Amazing Weekend in Seville!

Yo girl still has no idea if it is spelled Seville or Sevilla, someone please let me know. Regardless, Clare was an amazing host & we loved seeing this beautiful city! Got to eat some dank authentic tapas and walked around in 75 degree weather… nooot complaining.

Royal Alcázar of Seville

I really need to watch Game of Thrones at this point because this is my second (beautiful) filmed location I’ve seen with absolutely no context. Regardless, even though it wasn’t sunny during this hour it was SOOOO cool. It is huge and we roamed the grounds for a while. Perfect first glimpse into Seville’s beauty.

Plaza De España

This plaza really embodied what I felt like Seville was all about - happy people, sun shining, flamenco dancers street performing.. it was so pretty. My reaction to pretty much everything we saw was “awwww pretty” or “ahhh beautiful day” so I could also just leave the description at that. Good. Freaking. Vibes.

Wandering the Streets

I knowwww I always say this is a favorite thing to do - but for Seville I extra mean it. You can get truly lost in these cute, walkable streets. A lot of the streets you can’t even drive through or most don’t and there’s tons of horse carriages for tourists that are fun to watch go by. I don’t have a long list of things to do in this section of the blog for this reason alone — we had so much fun stopping at a tapas place, sitting on a bench, or sitting by the river and just people watching or talking. May I say, just like a local ?!

Las Setas

We never ended up going to the top of Las Setas - but apparently the view is great. The contrast of this modern structure against the old city apparently has struck up some debate but I thought it was super cool!
