The Amalfi Coast

Top 5 best trips of my life!! The Amalfi Coast has views like no other.. and our crew of people was amazing. Definitely can say, I’ll be back. Below are just breakdowns of each different place we went.. Sorrento, Positano, and Capri!

Sorrento

Sorrento was our home base, which was the perfect call. It was right in the middle of everything and I think is the most underrated spot on the coast, so pretty. There is the cutest town, gorgeous rocky cliffs, happy people, and dank ass food. We spent 1.5 days wandering Sorrento & never felt bored!!

Favorite things to do in Sorrento:

  • Hotel Bellevue Syrene for drinks & amazing view of the water (super flowery / happy porch)

  • Bagni Regina Giovanna - We hiked a bit to find it but this was the location of a super beautiful cove! Then we tanned on the rocks nearby it was so relaxing and not busy with people at all. The walk to it was beautiful & gave us views as well.. definitely my favorite thing we did in Sorrento.

  • Wandering streets & limoncello tasting - The streets are SO cute and all the shops are identical little limoncello shops but they’re still all fun to go in and talk to the shop owners

  • The Wine Cellar - One day when it was raining we just stopped in this wine bar and spent two hours, really nice waiters

But seriously, we really did just wander & wander just like we always do …. will always be my favorite thing to do traveling!!!

Positano

This town = the feeling of walking through a painting. Its super laid back which we loved so we didn’t do much other than just hop from each place to the next finding the best views. It was super easy to get from Sorrento - quick 40 minute bus from the train station - so it was quite the relaxing day trip. We all loved it!

Other than wandering the streets (classic) we went to Le Siranuse for a drink (fancy ASL so prepare, but it was the best view in Positano that I personally saw) and I would say is worth it. Other than that we just sat at the beach for a while with some champagne and embraced the good vibes :)

Capri

The home of yet ANOTHER “best day ever.” Wow, just wow. Capri as an island itself is stunning.. a 30 minute ferry ride from Sorrento we got over there fast and instantly were amazed. Capri is more of like the glitzier neighbor to Sorrento so we loved analyzing the contrasts & walking through the streets with fancy shops. Then, after we did some exploring of the island we went back down to the water for the most amazing boat tour I have ever been on .. 10/10 day & life wowzza!

  • GIANNI’S BOAT TOUR!!! I would recommend them to anyone. They were so so nice / had been sailing in the family for years and knew what they were doing / let us bring alcohol on / and were so knowledgable about everything Capri had to offer. They made us feel so welcomed & excited for the tour. It was a blast. Also the boat itself is really beautiful — heeeeello pretty pretty pictures

  • Buy a lemon granite slushie

  • Walk to the gardens - past the Dior, Gucci, etc stores theres a beautiful, huge garden thats definitely worthwhile to walk through. Pretty and greeeen :)

  • Lunch in the square - Even though its not a view of the water the square is super bustling & in the sun so we decided to sit down for a sandwich at Bar Tiberio (dank) which was great for people watching

Would love to come back here specifically with my family because I know they would love the boats and the grottos so so much.
