Pra Ha Ha Ha HAAAA

Okay, NOW this is my favorite trip so far. Prague got so hyped up to me by a couple of people and it honestly still exceeded expectations.

The city is super walkable and charming while also just a weird place in the best way possible. Everything is SO cheap (exchange rate goalz) and I don’t know really anything about the culture of Prague still but I do know that it has great vibes and I could spend hours just wandering and not every city has that appeal. (Also important to note this has been our first trip without rain, huuuuge blessing)

On our first day we got in super early and were able to check into our Airbnb (highly recommend Airbnb’s in Prague.. ours was legit $30 for whole weekend and could have fit 8 people..) We started the day by walking to Old Town and found a cute pancake place called Dan Noc which was super low key and had all locals.. Really good. We then wandered for a while towards the clock and Charles bridge. Can I note that there is a polar bear constantly chilling in Old Town square, can someone please maybe explain... why?? V interested. Anyways, Charles Bridge was definitely my favorite part of Prague.. it is soooo lively and happy and there’s music everywhere, we went twice lol. Then we found a random lookout spot (look for a tower, go to the tower, walk up, easy as dat) which also was worthwhile because the cute lil orange rooftops and river are pretty mesmerizing to look at. I love cities with consistent aesthetic architecture — color consistency, etc. After that we were off to grab a drink and eat a tridelnik and okay these things are so dank & actually out of this world so you have to get one. But like, as romantic as this place could be - if I was with a dude I’d probably opt out of eating those here because that sh** went EVERYWHERE.. Truly made a public scene trying to eat the cone.(We apologize to the poor czech man in the shop that had to clean up our mess that we practically ran from)

We then went back to change & find a dinner spot. Another PSA that we didn’t really expect is that you definitely have to get dinner reservations prior. We had to walk in somewhere random that was great but not outstanding enough for me to recommend. We then made up every excuse in the book to not go to the club and went home… Ohhhh that bed felt niiiiiice, can’t wait to go back home in Barcelona and sleep on my hard ass bed, NOT.

Day 2 we woke up early to get brunch at Cafe Savoy (also need a res) it was so cute & has mimosas which is always a great call let’s be honest. We then wandered over to the John Lennon Wall which as basic as it is, I really do love graffiti so I actually thought it was super pretty. It also reminded me of my grandma who loves the song Imagine & before hanging up the phone always says “be nice to everyone” or signs her emails with “all you need is love” so it made me smile and miss her (shout out to Cj- hi I love you!!) Apparently there was a group of high school boys that hit the wall with spray paint before us because after we took about hmm 30 pictures in front of male genitals we realized we should probably stand on the other side.. thx boys! We then wandered some more around nearby until we decided to go back to Old Town & grab some mulled wine. Then, we went to Teresa U Prince which is suuuuch a pretty rooftop bar & worth the small wait for a really pretty view of the top of Old Town. Afterwards we went back to home to get ready for our pub crawl — and the rest was history my friends.. 1 word: absinthe shots. When in Prague?

Loved Prague & everything about it. This trip was just what I needed. Definitely could see myself going back one day. Important to note that I was THAT close to naming this post “czech this out”… you’re welcome everyone.

Excited to spend next weekend home in Barcelonaaaaaa !!
